Home Loan Application Process

It's as simple as:

STEP 1) Print and complete a statement of service form. Note for veterans or prior service members: in lieu of a statement of service letter, we will need you to send us your DD-214.

STEP 2) Print and complete the request for certificate of Eligbility VA Form 1880

STEP 3) Complete the online pre-qualification form.

Fort Huachuca offers one of the largest housing facilities in the Army with over 1,900 family units available. Most units come with a refrigerator and a range. Homes date back to 1884 and are listed on the list of National Historic Landmarks. To apply for on-post housing, bring a copy of orders, a copy of leave form and birth certificates and marriage licenses as well as a passport. Application for housing can be done prior to arrival. There is an RV resort on base as well that is open to active duty military, military dependents and DoD civilians. Reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance at the resort.
For off-post housing, many options are offered. The Housing Referral Office keeps a list of all available properties in the surrounding communities. The office can work with military personnel to find the property that best matches their BAH allotment.
